“Between what is said and not meant, and what is meant and not said, most of love is lost” – Khalil Gibran

Pay intention to intention and reception
Without the right intentions the reception of your message as you intend it, is nothing more than a lucky shot and won’t “get there” as (much as) you want it to / as it could.

Good intentions alone don’t cut it to get any message, question or feeling across. Without attention to how your message is received at the same time, a lot of effort can go to waste and create (a lot of) misunderstanding.

I am aware that this is not the same as getting the results you plan for / getting what you want, but I don’t think we can ever completely control outcome while taking into account everybody’s feelings and needs without the risk of manipulating the them and sending a message of distrust in the capabilities of the other person.[01]Sure it comes in handy to pay attention every time you interact, in any circumstance. Given my intrest in / fascination with aware parenting and non violent communication, I pay extra attention when interacting with kids / youth. Unconditional love is as conditional as you intend it AND as it is received.

Lots of love.
